Description | Sealed Bids will be received by the Purchasing Department of the Township of Woodbridge, for: CONTRACT NUMBER 2022-022 2022 SANITARY SEWER CLEANING & TELEVISING of RVSA Mini Systems D-24, D-25, D-25A, D-25B, D-25C, D-25D, D-28, and Trenchless Pipe Spot Repair. This contract is for the application of Cleaning and Televising of 8", 10", 12 & 15" inches in Diameter of Sanitary Sewers totaling approximately 42,050 Linear Feet and includes cured in place trenchless pipe spot repair, re-establish house service connection and cutting protruding lateral service connection for a unit price as specified on the proposal. Bids must be submitted on the Proposal Form furnished to the Bidder, and accompanied by a corporate surety for the execution of the Contract on award thereof. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid, but not to exceed $20,000.00. Proposals must be enclosed in sealed envelopes addressed to the Woodbridge Township Purchasing Agent. Each bid must also be accompanied by a Certificate of Consent of surety from a bonding company licensed to do business in the State of New Jersey and acceptable to the Township, and named in the current list of "Surety Companies Acceptable on Federal Bonds", U.S. Treasury Department, guaranteeing that if the proposal of the Bidder is accepted, they will furnish the bond set forth in the Information to Bidders of the contract and the acceptance of the bid will be contingent upon the fulfillment of this requirement. The successful bidder shall be required to comply to the provisions of the New Jersey Prevailing. Wage Act, Chapter 150 of the Laws of 1963, effective January 1, 1964. All labor shall be covered by an approved health and hospital insurance plan, and approved pension plan, and an apprenticeship training program pursuant to standards established under the Department of Labor and Industry Act of 1948 (NJS 34:1A-34, et seq.). A Statement of Employee Benefits must be completed in order for the bid to be accepted. A Statement of Employee Benefits should be included following the statement of Ownership in the Bid Package. During the performance of this contract, the Contractor agrees to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, c. 127 (N.J.A.C. 17:27) all requirements of the State of New Jersey Worker Health and Safety Act (N.J.S.A. 10:5-31seq.) as amended, and the United States Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) (29 CFR 1910), as amended with regard to worker and jobsite safety. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening thereof. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a surety company bond in the full amount of the contract price indemnifying the Township of Woodbridge, New Jersey for all proceedings, suits, or actions of any kind of description and conditional for the faithful performance of the work.
