Description

In general the work consists of replacing approximately 1,150 linear feet of high pressure steam, pressurized condensate return, and compressed air piping from steam pit 4/13 at the intersection of Park Street and Dayton Street to steam pit 79/12 at the intersection of Lake Street and Johnson Street around Sellery Hall. The direct buried piping will be replaced with a concrete box conduit and 14-inch high pressure steam, 6-inch pressurized condensate return and 3-inch compressed air piping. Steam pits 5/13, 74/12, and 78/12 will be replaced. Steam pits 5/13 and 74/12 will be designed by NV5 to accommodate future steam connections across Park Street for the future Humanities block where pit 78/12 will be designed by others under different project scope.
