DFCM Construction - SLCC South City Campus Institute/Daycare Conversion Hazmat Abatement

Yellow Adhesive and Lead-Based Paint (Most Walls Throughout Facility) Contractor shall remove all yellow adhesive and lead-based paint from all walls in various facility areas (See appendix B). This material contains up to 5% chrysotile asbestos and lead-based paint above 0.3 mg/cm2. There is approximately 28,500 square feet of material to be removed. These materials are currently friable. Limited millwork, white boards, the pool table, glass, water fountains, and other facility equipment will be salvaged during this work. Contractor shall coordinate with the general contractor and remove built-up roofing material from 20 separate 6" x 6" locations to facilitate plumbing and ventilation equipment (as determined by the architect and general contractor). This material is assumed to contain asbestos.
