Description

The City of Laramie does not have an established survey network, and surveyors currently use section corners. The goal of this project is to develop and implement a city-wide survey control network to meet current and future needs for developments, plats, Capital Improvement, and many other uses. The scope includes determining which existing monuments can be used around Laramie, as well as identifying locations and installing new monuments. Establishing control stations into a control network with the new 2022 datum being adopted soon, this project would aim to also ensure compatibility with the new datum upon its adoption. The City of Laramie reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and waive informalities and minor irregularities in the proposals received if deemed in the best interest of the City. The City reserves the right to award this project to the firm who best addresses the requirements outlined in the Request for Qualifications. Any inquiries regarding this request should be directed to Zebulun Coulter, Project Manager, City of Laramie, 4373 North 3rd Street, Laramie, WY 82072, (307) 721-5250. The City of Laramie seeks to integrate energy efficiency practices into all aspects of day-to-day operations, from capital construction specifications to staff behaviors, to ensure economic and environmental sustainability. The City encourages bidder submissions that 1) enhance the efficiency of City projects and ongoing operations, and/or 2) consider all energy types, including traditional and renewable sources. Pursuant to W.S. 16-6-101 through 16-6-107, Preference is hereby given to resident contractors, materials, supplies, agricultural products, equipment, machinery and provisions produced, manufactured or grown in Wyoming, or supplied by a resident of the state, quality being equal to articles offered by the competitors outside of the state.
