Electrical Work For Passenger Elevator Modernizations (Units #13 And #14)

1. Modernize two existing hydraulic elevators complete in every respect. Upgrades shall include all items required to meet the current relevant codes and ADA requirements. 2. Coordinate the work with work that is being completed by others under the direction of the PCCA. 3. Complete the work per the schedule established by the PCCA so that the work does not interfere with the site’s operations. 4. Any component or device that is listed in this specification as “Retain existing” or “Reuse existing” shall be carefully inspected by the contractor to confirm its viability and to verify that it complies with all relevant codes. Any repairs, refurbishments or replacements of retained devices and components are to be included in the contractor’s base bid. 5. If these specifications to not include details of a required feature or the installation of parts, material or equipment that is needed to provide a complete modernization that complies with all codes and standards, the contractor shall include such items in his base bid.
