Description | Mahaska County Hospital (dba Mahaska Health) of Oskaloosa, Iowa is issuing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Construction Manager at Risk (CMaR) services. The CMaR services scope is to partner with the hospital and their architect for the development of a Master Plan. The hospital intends to eventually enter into a Guaranteed Maximum Price Contract with a Construction Manager at Risk for projects identified in the Master Planning design. The selection criteria for selection of the CMaR will include: o Firm Overview o Relative Experience o Firm Capacity o Service Offered o Project Management Approach o Experience with Helping Managing Design to a Budget o Communications Tools used for Construction Management The hospital is a County Hospital and all selection for services will comply with all applicable Iowa Public Bid Laws. Mahaska County Hospital of Oskaloosa, Iowa ("Hospital") is seeking Statements of Qualifications from qualified Construction Management firms to provide pre-construction services during a Master Planning phase, along with Cost Estimating service for the Master Planning effort. The Master Planning effort will address departmental needs as defined by Physician leadership, Board of Trustees and Hospital leadership. The Master Plan would provide building additions and remodeling that would allow the Hospital to meet the needs as defined in the Report. The total anticipated construction cost for the eventual project is anticipated to be approximately twenty-five million dollars ($25,000,000.00) |
