Description

Requesting proposals for entering into a professional contract as a health care lawyer for the HPDP programs on the Fort Peck Assiniboine and Sioux Indian Reservation in Poplar, Montana. Proposals must include the submission of a written action plan working with health care laws, regulations, and statutes which govern the administration of health services and its applicability to Native American Tribes and Governments. Incumbent requires at least 5 years or more experience working with health care law, Indian Self Determination and Education Assistance Act P.L. (93-638 as amended) Title I and Title V and general management issues. Must be familiar with federal, state and tribal court procedures, tribal constitutions, codes and ordinances. Must have demonstrated experience working with health care organizations and Native American reservation communities including knowledge of health disparities and quality health care standards. Insurance Requirements include General liability, and naming the Fort Peck Tribes as an additional insured, W-9 form, and resume and or CV. The contract will consider cost analysis and feasibility in order to meet the compliance along with the health needs of its communities served.
