Description | Notice is hereby given that Public Utility District No. 1 of Kitsap County (Kitsap PUD) will receive sealed bid proposals for TEL-260251 Hintzville LUD-43 Phase 1 Fiber Project Bids are being asked for provision of all necessary labor, equipment and materials required for the installation of the Kitsap PUD provided fiber cables from KPUD Node located at 16451 NW Church Rd, Seabeck to the Hintzville community using the strand and lash construction methods along PSE poles, and installation of conduit in Kitsap County ROW. Coordinate with participating Homeowners for the proper location and installation of the conduit/duct and Demarc placements. Installing District provided vaults, pedestals, multi-port terminals (MPT) and ROC drops. All work performed on this project is subject to state prevailing wage rates. The Kitsap PUD is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer. This project is partially funded through the Washington State Community Economic Revitalization Board with federal funds from the U.S. Treasury ARPA Capital Project Funds. Contractor must be licensed, bonded, and insured in Washington State. Contractors are encouraged to commit to local hires for this project. Small, Minority- and Women-owned firms are encouraged to submit bids. A 5% bid guarantee is required in the form of certified or cashier's check, or surety bond. The Contract will be awarded to the qualified bidder submitting the lowest responsible bid. Kitsap PUD reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive all informalities in the bidding in accordance with the specifications. Each Bid Proposal shall conform to the requirements of Section 1-02.9 of the Contract Special Provisions. Bids shall be made out on the bid form furnished with the specifications. When submitting a bid, only include the bid form, the bid guarantee, Non-Collusion certificate, Statement of Bidders Qualifications, and the., Certification of Compliance with Wage Payment Statutes, and Subcontractor Lists. Contractor shall be required to have the Contract physically completed within sixty (60) working days |
