Floor Treatment System

The work will consist of all labor equipment, and materials required for the replacement and surface preparation and polishing system applications as follows: Bay 1 and Side room at 2,014 sq. ft.; Bays 2, 3, 4, 5 at 5,800 sq. ft.; Truck Storage Pole Barn at 4,620 sq. ft.; To include epoxy resurfacing, urethane finish, and protective industrial polymer coating materials. Contractor will remove existing flooring and prep new flooring area with diamond grinding equipment, all surfaces to be coated and equally finished either by machine or by hand as necessary, including any low spots or surface cracks to be filled prior to the epoxy surfacing. Upon completion of new surface preparation, dust and dirt debris will be removed and cleaned and PIP 3600 EM 100% solid epoxy primer will be applied at a minimum of 8 mils to all areas being resurfaced. To follow, a PIP 3600 100% solid epoxy mortar will be applied and troweled to a smooth finish of minimum 1/4 inch. After cured, surface imperfections will be ground and filled with flexible epoxy joint sealant system as needed and the mortar will have at least one coat of 1000HB 100% solid epoxy with thickening agent of 8 mills to seal. To finish, the surfaces will be buff sanded, cleaned, and a coat of PIP UR2000 Diamondwear aliphatic, satin sheen, chemical resistant, and textured coating of of minimum warranty period of one year.
