| Description | Work consists of modifying the existing crane beams at Berth 211 and Berth 213 to accommodate the new gantry crane storm tie down hardware and stowage pin pockets for the three (3) Sumitomo Cranes at PTB. The work includes select demolition consisting of removal of existing asphalt pavement and partial concrete demolition at the crane beams to facilitate new construction. New construction includes installation of H-Piles and reinforced concrete beams, and assembly and installation of pin pocket and tie down assemblies. Asphalt pavement removed for construction access is to be replaced in kind. The Berths and adjacent land area are to remain active and accessible during construction. Utilization of Berths 210 through 213 and construction sequencing need to be coordinated with PTB and the terminal Operator. |
