Description | The Project includes the following Work: Contract No. 1 2 Water Supply Wells, Pump, Electrical, Well Building and Sitework. Contract No. 2 Installation of approximately 41,700 LF of 12", 10" and 8" PVC Piping and Related Appurtenances, 450 LF of Bore and Case with Steel Casing, and 420 LF of Directional Bore with HDPE Piping. Contract No. 3 Replacing approximately 532 5/8" x 3/4 " Meters, 11 1" Meters, and 11 2" Meters with AMI System. Retrofitting Encoders on approximately 200 Meters. Bids are requested for the following Contracts: Contract No. 1 Water Supply Wells, Contract No. 2 Water Main Extensions Replacement, and Contract No. 3 Water Meter Replacement Owner anticipates that the Project's total bid price will be approximately $ 3,075,250.00. The Project has an expected duration of 360 days for Bid Schedule "A" Contract 1, 180 days for Bid Schedule "B" Contract 1, 150 days for Bid Schedule "A" Contract 2, 180 days for Bid Schedule "B" Contract 2, and 75 days for Contract. Prospective Bidders may obtain or examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Thursday between the hours of 8:00 12:00 and 1:00 5:00 and Fridays 8:00 12:00, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. American Iron and Steel Section 746 of Title VII of the Consolidated Appropriations ACT of 2017 (Division A Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2017) and subsequent statues mandating domestic preference applies an American Iron and Steel requirement to this project. All iron and steel products used in this project must be produced in the United States. The term "iron and steel products" means the following products made primarily of iron or steel: lined or unlined pipes and fittings, manhole covers and other municipal castings, hydrants, tanks, flanges, pipe clamps and restraints, manhole covers and other municipal castings, hydrants, tanks, flanges, pipe clamps and restrains, valves, structural steel, reinforced precast concrete, and Construction Materials.
