Remodel of Recorder and Treasurer Office Areas - Melody Lane Complex

Provide all labor, materials, transportation and expertise in order to accomplish the Remodel of the Recorders and Treasurer Offices at the Cochise County Melody Lane Complex located at 1415 Melody Lane, Bisbee, Az to the satisfaction of the County. Task 1 - Demolition, removal, and disposal of walls depicted in architectural plans of existing conditions. Temporarily remove and disconnect ceiling lights, HVAC ducts/registers, door/door frames, electrical wires/outlets/switches, and plumbing that may be in the way or part of the demolition plan. Task 2 - Construct new walls up the existing ceiling grid using metal studs and 5/8” sheetrock, or as specified in architectural plans. Install electrical and data boxes in accordance with architectural plans. Additional electrical boxes may be needed for future data needs (cameras), that are not depicted on the current architectural plan. These additional boxes could be assessed in the form of a change order. Wire and tie in electrical outlets and switches. Data boxes must have conduit up to the top of the ceiling grid. Tape and texture walls (texture is hawk & trowel finish look). Task 3 - Adjust fire suppression sprinkler heads to meet code (if needed) – sub-contract with County Contracted Fire Systems Contractor-A&R Fire Protection to perform this work (Keith Hemsworth – 520-308-0159). Task 4 - Remove existing carpet. Task 5 - Prep and mask off walls for painting. Primer new walls and paint the complete interior of the building using Dunn Edwards Suprema eggshell finish paint. The walls will be painted in “miner’s dust” color, while door frames will be painted in Dunn Edwards Suprema eggshell enamel finish (color = Draw Your Sword). Task 6 - Install new carpet tiles (Shaw Carpet Product); Style 59558 “Intrigue” Tile; Color 54595 “Stealth.” Use Tarkett rubber cove base Product #440146185, (48’ X 4”), “Harbour” color. Carpet should be adhered using pressure sensitive adhesive. Task 7 - Make necessary modifications to HVAC supply ducts and returns, to ensure new rooms have adequate air flow and return. Cochise County Information Technology staff will feed and wire data boxes. Task 8 - Replace damaged or needed ceiling tiles to match existing ceiling tiles. Task 9 - Clean work area prior to departure; to include dusting and vacuuming.
