Description | For Standifer Gap Park Tennis Court Improvements The project consists of construction of 6 tennis courts and 4 pickleball courts @ 8327 Standifer Gap Road, Chattanooga, TN 37421. If you have any questions regarding this solicitation, please contact Stacey Lewis at staceyl@hamiltontn.gov. This project includes demolition of the existing 6 tennis courts and the construction of 6 new tennis courts and 4 new pickle ball courts. The tennis and pickle ball courts will include laser grading, base material, fencing, tennis court accessories, asphalt paving, and an acrylic surface. The tennis courts shall be built per NFHS (National Federation of State High School Associations) standards. Contractor shall provide verification that the tennis courts is constructed and striped per NFHS Standards. The lump sum bid shall include the construction of 6 tennis courts and 4 pickle ball courts, demolition, erosion control measures, earthwork, accessories and fencing. Contractor shall include all labor, supervision, equipment, and all other incidentals to construct the track in accordance with NFHS regulations, and attached plans and specifications. Contractor shall be required to verify the location of all utilities and coordinate any utility relocations with utility companies and/or Hamilton County Parks and Recrecation. Contractor shall be a "Certified Tennis Court Builder" or have a "Certified Tennis Court Builder" as part of its team. Contractor shall submit "as-built" drawings as part of the close-out documentation. All permit fees shall be included in lump sum bid. 1. Contractor shall provide all site preparation including all required clearing and grubbing, proper disposal of waste material, and existing culvert material. 2. Contractor is responsible for locating all utilities. Contractor shall determine the locations and depths of all existing utilities. 3. Contractor is responsible for all survey and layout of the project. 4. Earthwork grading, excavation, backfilling, and compaction of base material. Excavation work is specified as "unclassified". Unclassifed excavation includes all excavation, regardless of type, nature or condition of materials encountered. The Contractor assumes full responsibility to estimate the kind and extent of the various materials to be encountered in order to accomplish the work. Contractor is responsible for all quality control testing required to install the bridge system in accordance with manufacturer's requirments. 5. Contractor is responsible for installation and maintenance of erosion control measures as required by TDEC. SWPPP has been obtained through TDEC. |
