Description

The Work includes the following major items: • Excavation and construction of a new control valve vault and valves to bypass the existing water main along Transportation Drive • Installation of power and controls • Pipe heat tracing • Install linestop with temporary bypass and tapping existing water main • Installation of new instrumentation and SCADA pole so the control valve can be controlled through communication with the Crofton Sphere Tank • Installation of vault ventilation system to comply with current County standards and partial NFPA 820 requirements • Installation of new bypass valves on the existing 12” water main • Site works including trench for control valve vault, piping, and conduits
