Description

This Sources Sought is not a Request for Proposal, Request for Quote, or Invitation for Bid. There is no commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, make awards, or pay for respondent's expenditures made in response to this notice. Interested vendors are responsible for monitoring this notice for any subsequent amendments. All submissions become government property and will not be returned. Any solicitation issued as a result of this notice will be in a separate announcement. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Baltimore District requests capability statements from construction vendors interested in performing dam gate and hoist replacement and disposal work. The jobsite is located at the Stillwater Dam, on the Lackawanna River, Main Stem Susquehanna River Basin, Clifford Township, Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania. The anticipated magnitude of the construction project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Vendors shall respond with the following information: Company name, address, point of contact, phone number, e-mail address, CAGE code, and UEI number. Indicate if your company is currently registered with the Systems for Award Management (SAM) database. If not, indicate if it has been registered in the past or intends to register. In consideration of NAICS code 237990, with a small business size standard in dollars of $39.5M, indicate which of the following small business categories your business is classified under: Small Business, Veteran Owned Small Business, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, Woman-Owned Small Business, HUBZone Small Business, or 8(a) Business. Indicate if your company is currently prohibited from doing business with the Federal Government. Yes/No. (If yes, explain). Information on construction projects with similar scopes of work* and magnitude of construction within the past ten (10) years. Provide the following information for two (2) projects: A brief description of the projects Customer Name Timeliness of performance Customer satisfaction List of equipment used Dollar value of the project *Projects with similar scopes of work will demonstrate: Experience with dewatering/water diversion associated with dam repair projects Experience with inspecting, cleaning, resurfacing, and painting of dam gates and guide slots. Experience with the removal and replacement of dam service gates. Experience with dam gate and interior conduit station marker fabrication. Ability to develop and deliver shop drawings. No design work is required for this project.
