Description | Award Details Contract Award Date: Aug 04, 2022 Contract Award Number: 69056722C000022 Task/Delivery Order Number: Contractor Awarded Unique Entity ID: Y25HZA5U1PM3 Contractor Awarded Name: QAYAQ CONSTRUCTION, LLC Contractor Awarded Address: Anchorage, AK 99518-1550 USA Base and All Options Value (Total Contract Value): $11392762.00 The Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, intends to award a firm fixed price contract for Maintenance Dredging, Delaware River and the Fairless Turning Basin, Philadelphia to Trenton Project. Description of Work: Contract work consists of maintenance dredging of approximately 500,000 cubic yards of sediment within the Delaware River, Philadelphia to Trenton main navigation channel between the Turnpike Bridge (Sta 97+000) and just North of the Fairless Turning Basin (Sta 123+700) as well as within the Basin. There will be an Option to dredge just above the basin between Stations 123+700 and 124+700. Work includes hydraulic dredging with placement of the dredged material into the Biles Island Disposal Area in Falls Township, Pennsylvania. The base contract dredging in the Delaware River as well as within Fairless Turning Basin, will be required to a depth of 41' MLLW (Datum) plus 1' allowable overdepth. The Option, if awarded will include dredging only to a depth of 25' MLLW plus 1' allowable overdepth. The base contract period of performance is 120 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP) with an additional 30 days added if Option 1 is awarded. Contractor must be prepared to commence actual dredging within ten (10) days of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). All dredging in the river must be completed between 1 July and 31 December and between 1 July and 15 March in the Basin due to environmental restrictions.
