Exterior Wood Siding Work at Fish Health Lab: - Remove existing wood siding - Remove existing vapor barrier - Replace any damaged sheathing as needed - Install new vapor barrier - All four sides shall be stained with a natural transparent waterproof stain - Install tongue and groove rough face Redwood siding with a 5 inch exposed face mounted vertically - Wrap all edges - Caulk and seal all corners, transitions (where planks meet the stone / stucco), window seals, door seals - Estimated 15,000 sq ft of wood siding (contractor to determine) - Power wash all stucco, windows, doors and stone areas - Prep stucco, doors, frames and windows surfaces for painting (remove all loose / peeling paint, mold and mildew) - Repair / fill all cracks or damages in stucco - Caulk and seal all window seals and door jams - Apply primer to all uncoated or repaired areas on stucco allowing manufacture dry time before applying sealant – (Dries clear and does not alter surface appearance - leaves no surface film and will not yellow) - Apply sealant to stone areas – (will not harm people, pets or plants Does not alter surface appearance - leaves no surface film, no sheen and will not yellow) - Apply primer to all exterior doors, frames and windows allowing manufacture dry time before applying 2 coats of exterior paint (color to match existing: Dark Bronze)
