Description DCAMM Certification Required. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: The modernization of two (2) duplex in-ground hydraulic passenger elevators to include, but not be limited to, a new controller, tank, pump unit, fixtures, cab enclosure, cab doors, and door operating equipment. Work includes but is not limited to: 1. Demolition and proper disposal of existing equipment to be replaced. 2. Installation of elevator pit equipment including lights and ladders. 3. Installation of two new duplex passenger elevators, cabs and associated equipment. 4. Disconnection and proper disposal of alarm systems and replacement with new systems. 5. Installation of two new emergency phone lines and associated devices for use in the elevator cabs. 6. Electrical service upgrades. 7. Elevator hoistway and pump room ventilation with associated sensors and controls. 8. New pump room HVAC including controls. Work is a Level 1 Alteration per the provisions of Section 503 of the 2015 IEBC, including the removal and replacement or the covering of existing materials, elements, equipment or fixtures using new materials, elements, equipment or fixtures that serve the same purpose.
