Description | The project consists of the development of the full block bound by Cass Ave. on the north, Cochran Pl. on the south, 16th St. on the west, and 14th St. on the east. The developed site will include 140 parking spaces, a centralized mail kiosk structure, and (12) twelve new construction multi-family buildings. BSI is taking bids on all scopes of work, including architectural, civil, landscape, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection work for the construction of 91 separate residential apartment units. These 91 rental apartment units are distributed among the residential buildings. The apartment housing will be in a combination of townhomes, garden-style units, and walk-up apartments, in different 2 and 3-story building types. The project also includes the necessary existing building demolition and abatement, site development, site utility improvements, civil and related sitework for construction of each new structure, including but not limited to fencing, driveways, walks, landscaping and other on-site improvements.
