Wastewater Treatment Facility Biosolids Management Improvement

The work shall consist of construction of sludge stabilization process known as BCR CleanB will be installed in the existing Boiler Room in the Solids Handling Building. The side walls of the Boiler Room will need to be removed, and the ceiling will need to be beam-supported. Two (2) chemical storage tanks provided by BCR will be placed on the ground floor, as shown on the plans, with bulk fill piping on the east side of the Solids Handling Building. Two (2) new WAS feed rotary lobe pumps will be installed in the existing Pump Room. Existing electrical infrastructure will be used to power all new motors. Sludge will be pumped from the existing day tank to the CleanB contact coil using the new pumps and new process piping. From there, new process piping will convey the wastewater to the existing centrifuge.
