Allen County Board of DD, Addition & Renovation to Administrative Building

Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a municipal facility in Lima, Ohio. Working plans call for the addition of a municipal facility; for the demolition of a municipal facility; for the renovation of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility. General Construction: Interior office renovation of approximately 2,090 square feet and 1,344 square feet addition. Demolition of existing items noted on drawings including existing exterior walls, roof structure, flooring, base, ceiling, casework, storefronts, and any other demolition items indicated on the plans. New exterior concrete masonry walls with face brick veneer and roof structure consisting of wood trusses and an asphalt shingle roof system. New hollow metal door frames with hollow metal doors, hollow metal door frames with wood doors, and aluminum framed storefronts, complete with door hardware, and glazing. New Metal stud and drywall wall construction with acoustical ceilings with drywall bulkhead as indicated on ceiling plan. Flooring to include sheet carpeting. Painting as indicated on drawings and new exterior signage as shown on the drawings. Plumbing Work: Plumbing work consists of, but not limited to demolition of existing items noted on drawings including sink, washing maching box and associated accessories. Demolition of all associated piping back to main where they should be capped. Demolition of existing natural gas piping serving exiting furnace in mechanical room. New gas piping to serve new furnace. HVAC Work: HVAC work consists of, but not limited to demolition of existing diffusers, ductwork, furnace, condensing unit and associated accessories. Installation of new ductwork, diffusers, furnace, condensing unit and associated accessories. Base bid installation of a 2-zone control damper system in new system and an alternate bit of an 8-zone control damper system in an existing system. Electrical Work: Electrical work consists of, but not limited to demolition of power, fire alarm, lighting devices, light fixtures, mechanical equipment and technology devices. New work consists of fire alarm, power to new receptacles (surface raceway where required), and mechanical equipment. Also, new LED lighting throughout the renovation space and the new addition controlled by occupancy sensors, and low voltage switches. Technology Work: Technology work consists of, but is not limited to horizontal communications cabling, audio and video cabling and equipment, sound reinforcement systems and intrusion detection systems.
