Mill Girl Stairs Replacement

The scope of work includes construction of an accessible ramp and stair structure to replace the existing site stairs located near 359 Commercial Street at the intersection with Stark Street. This landmark project will prominently feature the relocated Mill Girl statue. The project includes, but is not limited to, the following work: Relocation of the Mill Girl statue including installation of a new footing and pedestal. Construction of a new reinforced concrete ramp and stair structure with granite treads supported by frost protected cast-in-place concrete foundations and retaining walls (approximately 100 cy plus flatwork). Steel handrail and partial-height steel pipe guardrail systems ?Site preparation (including demolition, excavation and backfill) and site improvements. Hardscaping including brick pavers and concrete flatwork. Electrical wiring associated with lighting, power & systems, including LED accent floodlights, integrated linear LED lighting along the ramps, and relocation of two existing decorative light pole assemblies.
