Gate Replacement at F&G Dock and Other Park Improvements

Scope of Work: The scope shall include, but is not limited to work substantially similar to that presented below: 1. Completely remove and dispose of existing dock gate and structure maintaining electrical power feed. 2. Fabrication and installation of new dock gate. 3. Supply and install one (1) aluminum pedestrian gate 48" wide and 8' tall to match design of neighboring gate and fence entrance. 4. Posts will be 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" aluminum posts set with flange plates with anchor bolts. Two west side outriggers for support. 5. Picket bars will be 1" x 1" aluminum welded to frame with 3 1/2" spaces. 6. Perimeter gate will be 2" x 2" aluminum. 7. Gate will include three (3) heavy-duty stainless-steel hinges, include a heavy duty LCN 4040XP automatic door closer or equivalent and an applicable aluminum housing/keedex box for a lever hand set. 8. A Schlage vandal proof lever hand set with keyed entry and free exit will be installed. 9. A 12" long by 2" wide door guard will be welded to overlap strike on gate frame. 10. An installed barrier of expanded aluminum will protect the Schlage lever handle in a two-foot radius for security. 11. Electrical to be wired in gate frame for electric strike. 12. Von Duprin 6211 24V US320 FS CON electric strike to be supplied and installed by contractor to existing wiring. 13. Gate will have two 8' x 8' wing panels on each side that will hang over the water for security. 14. Picket bars to match gate in dimension and spacing. Header/Perimeter 3" x 3" to match posts. Overall dimension of gate structure approximately 8' 3" by 20'. 15. Both sides of panels and top of gate structure will have 2" x 2" fall bars, spaced 1' apart, angled 45 degrees down on the side and forward on the top.
