Description | The Eagle Wings Waterline Extension project includes installation of approximately 1,100 feet of 6" PVC C900 waterline including valves, hydrants, service lines, and other miscellaneous appurtenances. Main Street, Newark, Ohio 43055, Ph. 740-344-5451 Licking County Water & Wastewater, 4455 Unit A, Walnut Road, Buckeye Lake, Ohio 43008, Ph. 740-938-0302 Complete sets of bidding documents may only be purchased through Verdantas LLC. Bidders are required to provide Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond in the amount of 100 percent of the Bid Price or certified check, cashier's check or letter of credit equal to ten percent of the bid amount to guarantee the Bidder's entrance into a contract, if awarded the project. Each bid must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the bid and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity, and a complete listing of all subcontractors to be used. The Project is being funded with monies made available by the CLEAN WATER OR DRINKING WATER STATE REVOLVING FUND and such law contains provisions commonly known as "Use of American Iron and Steel;" that requires all of the iron and steel products used in the project be produced in the United States. Each Bidder must ensure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, handicap, ancestry, or age. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project shall to the extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123 is required. This procurement is subject to the EPA policy of encouraging the participation of small business in rural areas (SBRAs). Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Licking County as determined by the Davis-Bacon Federal Wage Determinations. The Engineer's estimate is as follows: $164,000.00 Your offer will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 60 days after submission. In the event that the Owner is unable to obtain an Agreement with the Bidder initially selected, the Owner may award the contract to the next bid, most favorable to the Owner. The right is reserved by the Owner to reject any or all bids, and to waive any informality in bids received and to accept any bid which is deemed to be the lowest and best bid. |
