Description Furnish and install a new 10 ton split unit heat pump at Hartsville Middle School Library, 1427 Fourteenth St, Hartsville, SC 29550. Existing unit is a 10 ton split system heat pump. The condenser is a Carrier model # 38ARQ012---601--- serial # 4705G20138. The air handler is a Carrier model# 40RMQ012—B611HC serial # 0306X00588. Heat strip Model # CAELHEAT011A00 Serial # 0606V04595. The voltage is 460 volts three phase. New unit is to be a Carrier, Trane or equivalent 10 ton split system heat pump with 15 KW Heat Strips. Refrigerant lines and drain lines are to be replaced with new lines. Splicing into old lines is not allowed. Current thermostat will be reused. Exposed lines must be covered with Armaflex or Rubatex. Any holes created or exposed by this installation are to be sealed. If wall is fire rated holes must be sealed to fire rating of wall being penetrated. Before drilling holes or brazing tubing, fire alarm system must be taken off line. After completion of installation fire alarm system must be put back on line. Existing drain pan can be reused. Outdoor unit is to have hail guards installed. All materials and supplies used to install this unit are to be furnished by and installed by contractor. Old unit and all debris is to be cleaned up hauled away and disposed of by contractor.
