Questions due by: 08/15/2022 at 4:30 P.M. Through this Request for Proposal (RFP), the Office of Purchasing & Contracting (hereinafter the State) is seeking to establish a contract with a qualified Architectural and/or Engineering firm to provide architectural and engineering design services to study the renovations of 120 State Street. In 2019, the state renovated two exterior exit stair towers with an addition that includes a freight elevator core along with supplying a rear ADA compliant entry, along with other minor renovations. Originally built in 1949, faced with marble and a decorative frieze, it is a signature and an historic downtown State Office Building and part of the Capitol Complex. Built out of concrete and steel, it has five floors and a basement. It totals 76,103 Gross Square Feet (GSF). 120 State Street currently serves ~345 state employees. Primary tenants include the Departments of Motor Vehicles, Human Resources, Buildings and General Services, and the Agency of Digital Services. The State anticipates the start date will be 9/6/2022 and contract completion date will be 6/30/2023 Any vendor requiring clarification of any section of this RFP or wishing to comment or take exception to any requirements of the RFP must submit specific questions in writing no later than the deadline for question indicated on the first page of this RFP.
