Description

The Scope of Work includes Erosion Control, Pavement Demolition, Traffic Control, Clearing and Grubbing, Earthwork, Milling, Paving, Curbs, Pavement Markings and Guardrails associated with the proposed Road Widening in accordance with the original design alignment and sections. Work also includes, but is not limited to, Storm Culverts, Head & End Walls, Green Infrastructure (Naturalized Basin and Infiltration Pond), and Ditches for the Road Widening. The New Harrison Elementary School Driveways will connect to this project and the new contract includes the connection of those driveways along with the tie to the existing Equestrian Trail Driveway. Erosion Control includes, but is not limited to, Outlet Protection, Check Dams, Silt Fencing, Sediment Pond and Slope Matting, Turf Reinforcement Matting, Temporary seeding and Permanent Seeding. The Project includes an alternate bid for purchase and installation of controller and video detection system for the activation of the traffic light at the intersection of Highway 58 and Ferdinand Piech Way.
