Description | ** As of January 11, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** Water System Improvements Water Line Replacement and Booster Pump Station Pettit Mountain Water District Cherokee County, Oklahoma In cooperation with the Cherokee Nation The Project consists of the following: 4" Water Line, Water Meters and a Booster Pump Station. Bidders must bid on all items of the contract. The whole work under this contract will be awarded as a single contract to the lowest responsible bidder for the work. No bid may be withdrawn for at least sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. All checks shall be made payable to Holloway, Updike & Bellen. Each proposal must be accompanied by a Bidder's Bond, or Cashier's Check upon any solvent Bank or Trust Company, payable without reserve to the Pettit Mountain Water District, Cherokee County, Oklahoma, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. Bid security of the two low bidders will be retained until approval of contract and execution of satisfactory bonds by the successful bidder, or until other disposition on the bids is made. BIDDER must purchase plans and specifications from Holloway, Updike and Bellen, Inc. either directly for a hard copy of bidding documents or through Quest CDN for an electronic copy. Bidder must be on the Engineer's official planholders list in order to receive addendums and submit a bid. The bonds required will be a Performance Bond, a Statutory Bond, and a Maintenance Bond, each in the full amount of the contract. The Authority will not accept letters of credit in lieu of any bond required herein. The Owner may request of any bidder, before his bid is considered for award, that he submit a statement of facts as to his previous experience in performing work of the same character and magnitude, as to his business and technical organization, and financial resources and plant available and to be use in performing the contemplated work. Each bidder must have such information, together with a recent financial statement, available upon request. This project is to be paid by Cherokee Nation funds. Cherokee Nation "TERO" requirements apply to this project including 5% bid preference for "TERO" certified contractors and hiring requirements. Contract to be awarded to low responsive responsible bidder. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities in the bidding and the right to reject any and all bids in accordance with the Oklahoma Competitive Bidding Act. Conditional bids shall not be accepted. |
