Description

This project includes a 2" mill and replacement or full depth reconstruction of approximately 45,000 square yard of airfield and support pavement on the tower apron, north hangar apron areas, perimeter roadway, and other miscellaneous paved areas at Milwaukee County's Timmerman Airport. Also included are areas of pavement removal (convert to turf), new pavement in turf areas, joint sealing, pavement marking, and turf repair. Project to be substantially complete on June 28th 2023 and within 47 calendar days including 5 non-working days for poor weather over that time. For Federally Funded Contracts wage rates are established pursuant to Federal Labor Determination and Provisions Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation goal for this Project is 18 percent. To Be Considered for This Project All Required Dbe-14 Forms Shall Be Completed and Signed by Prime and Submitted as Indicated in Invitation to Bid. Bidders shall submit the completed Subcontractor-Supplier Information Entry with the Bid. Failure to submit this information with Bid may result in rejection of the Bid as non-responsive. A 10 percent bid bond or certified check is required with bid. The low responsive, responsible bidder will be recommended for contract award. Owner reserves right to reject bid, to waive informalities in bid or to accept bid which will be in best interest of Owner. Base Bid shall remain open to acceptance for a period of 60 days after bid due date.
