Contracting Office Address Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 10 Cincinnati VA Medical Center 3200 Vine Street Cincinnati, OH 45220 Description This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, "Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items," as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotations. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-04. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 238290, with a small business size standard of $19.5 million. The FSC/PSC is J036. The Cincinnati VA Medical Center and Fort Thomas Domiciliary require recurring maintenance and repair services, safety inspections and testing for Vertical Transportation Equipment (VTE). 1. GENERAL, BACKGROUND AND SCOPE: 1.1 GENERAL INTENTION A. The intention of this Statement of Work (SOW) is to obtain maintenance and repair services, safety inspections and testing for Vertical Transportation Equipment (VTE) at the Cincinnati Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VA) and the Fort Thomas Domiciliary (located in Fort Thomas KY) by means of a firm fixed price/indefinite quantity Contract with a base year and four (4) option years. 1.2 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS A. Contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, parts, material, tools, incidental engineering services, overtime pay, weekend and holiday premium pay, and transportation necessary to perform maintenance, repair, inspection, testing, and component replacement to keep the vertical transportation equipment operating as originally specified by the equipment manufacturer and/or as modified when a deviation is required but only with the written consent of the VA. B. Contractor, without additional expense to the Government, shall obtain all licenses, permits, and insurance required to perform the work in this Contract. Contractor shall comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws. Evidence of insurance, licenses, and permits shall be provided to the Contracting Officer before work commences. Questions/Clarifications: In order to maintain integrity, all quoters are advised that any questions/clarifications shall be submitted in written form via email to the Contracting Officer designated in the solicitation and shall be received no later than March 17, 2023.
