VAV Box Replacement, Key West FL

All non-personal services performed under this contract is required to meet the quality and performance standards as identified. Existing VAV boxes and EDHs at the Florida Keys Weather Forecast Office (WFO) have been malfunctioning and failing since the building was built in 2005. EDHs and VAVs are constantly tripping, heating elements keep failing, rooms around the building are constantly cold with temperatures way under set points. An attempt was made in 2020 to repair the existing VAVs and EDHs, but it didn’t fix the problems. Also, the manufacturer doesn’t fabricate spare parts for that system anymore. Existing Exhaust and supply fans installed in the mechanical yard are old and failing.
