2023 Town Mowing - Athletic Fields

The Town of Deerfield is seeking sealed bids for mowing and trimming within the Town of Deerfield. Mowing and trimming shall include: . Hartford Brook Athletic Field - mowing and trimming, done weekly . Bicentennial Athletic Field - mowing and trimming, done weekly All open areas are to be mowed & trimmed weekly, more frequently during wet seasons, less frequently during heavy drought. Frequency will be directed by the Facility Supervisor. Any changes in mowing, trimming or other contracted care to government grounds and buildings will be addressed by the Facility Supervisor. Maps and directions to all contracted areas will be handed out at the meeting. Bids will only be accepted from bidders who attend the mandatory bidder's meeting. The expectation is that mowing will begin at the start of the growing season and end when the growing season is finished. Any changes to mowing schedule will need to be authorized by the Facility Supervisor prior to the requested change taking place. Bids shall be submitted according to the format indicated on the form; any bids submitted not using the format will be rejected. . Provide proof of current liability insurance with the Bid. . Please mark each bid envelope clearly with: "2023 - Athletic Fields - Mowing & Trimming - 02" All bids must be made on the Vendor Bid Form. All bid items must be filled in. . No bidder may withdraw a Bid within 30 days of the actual date of bid opening. . A conditional or qualified Bid will not be accepted. . Town reserves the right to cancel either or both bids dependent upon the funds available. . The Town of Deerfield reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
