Description | Engineering Office Wall frame Project 1. Demo drywall and cornerbead from existing archway. Install new metal stud framing and frame for door with sidelight. Approximate overall opening size 114” wide x 86” tall 2. Move switch to new location and install new outlet, location will be coordinated with the Blg Maint Superintendent. Insulate wall as a sound barrier, install and finish drywall both sides, install new door with sidelight (match existing doors). Supply and install Schlage L90 Mortise Lever Lock. Cores and keys to be provided by the City. 3. Prime and paint drywall to match existing Sherwin Williams 200 paint. Paint outside wall from corner to corner, paint office to match and paint door frame. Finish door and install handle. Install new matching vinyl base 4. Contractor shall be responsible for all necessary floor, wall and ceiling preparation prior to the installation of new wall and door. 5. Furnish and install metal studs, 5/8” Gold Bond eXP Interior Extreme drywall, sound insulation, etc. for a complete installation. 6. Contractor shall install sound dampening insulation after stud construction and electrical wiring has been installed. 7. Contractor shall install new 5/8” Gold Bond eXP Interior Extreme drywall and use manufacture recommended drywall or construction adhesive and fasteners. 8. Contractor shall tape and mud all drywall seams, joints and screw holes for a complete smooth finish. Contractor shall contact Building Maintenance Superintendent or designated representative for inspection before proceeding to paint finished drywall. 9. Contractor shall be responsible for any damages caused during the demolition and installation of the project to door jambs, steel studs, structure, carpet, flooring, tile, ceiling, canopy frame, canopy covering and concrete. 10. Contractor shall be responsible for moving any and all furniture as required at the time of installation. 11. Contractor shall use a licensed electrician to perform the demo and installation of all electrical work, conforming to all state and local codes and regulations governing the trades included in this work, including securing applicable permits. 12. Contractor shall apply two (2) coats of PVA drywall primer to all new dry walled walls and joint compound. 13. Contractor shall apply two (2) coats of finish paint |
