Description | Disclaimer: If you would like to bid on this project you MUST obtain bid documents by contacting procurement@suburbanconsulting.com The Flanders Valley Wells #1 & #2 Electrical Improvement project includes electrical upgrades to existing Flanders Valley #1 and Flanders Valley #2 production well facilities. Improvements at both sites include selective demolition, furnishing and installing motor starters, motor control centers, pump control valves, interior and exterior lighting upgrades, new electric unit heaters, new dampers and louvers, miscellaneous structural repairs, removal and replacement of interior drop ceiling tiles and grid. Contractor shall furnish all necessary materials to complete this work. Supplemental bid item to include the demolition and removal of existing generator and furnishing and installing new 350kW standby diesel generator and Automatic Transfer Switch at Well #2. Flanders Valley Well #1 is located in the Township of Roxbury. Flanders Valley Well #2 is located in the Township of Mt. Olive. Only one well can be taken out of service at a time. The Contract will allow 365 calendar days for completion of the work from the notice to proceed. Any questions shall be submitted in writing in accordance with the Contract Documents prior to Friday November 4, 2022. There will not be a question and answer portion to the site visit. If bidders hand deliver the bid submission, they are to follow the instructions posted on the door of the MCMUA Office Building located at: 214A Center Grove Rd. Randolph, NJ 07869 during current business hours of 9:00am to 4:00pm. All bids must be submitted on the bid proposal forms provided in the bid documents in order to be considered. Bid proposals must be accompanied by a bid security, by way of a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid, but not in excess of twenty thousand ($20,000) dollars, made payable to the Morris County Municipal Utilities Authority ("MCMUA") Bidder must comply with the requirements of NJSA 10:5-31 et seq., and NJAC 17:27. Other requirements as well as those described above are fully detailed in the bid document. Prospective Bidders are cautioned not to rely solely on this Notice to Bidders in preparing their Bids, but to read the Bid Documents in their entirety and comply with all bidding requirements set forth therein. Any questions concerning the Bid Documents should be submitted to procurement@SuburbanConsulting.com The MCMUA reserves the right, in accordance with applicable law, to reject any and all proposals that substantially or materially deviate from the specifications and other required bid documents, and further reserves the right to waive immaterial irregularities and informalities in the proposals in accordance with applicable law.
