Pump Station 5 - Wildwood

The Greater Augusta Utility District will be performing necessary improvements to an existing sewer pump station, herein referred to as Pump Station 5: Wildwood, located along Wildwood Road in Augusta, Maine. The Work will include the installation of a new sewer wet well and valve/meter pit to improve safety, reliability, and capacity of the existing station. New pumps, instrumentation, flow meter, and piping, control building and electrical work will also be included. The first phase is earth work. This work will require deep excavation to allow placement of new structures, removal of existing concrete structures and foundations to facilitate piping installation, and intermittent shutdowns of the existing station during different phases of the project.
