Description

Governing Board ("Board") of the Berkeley Unified School District ("District") Will Receive Sealed Bids for the Following Project, Bid No., ("Project" or "Contract"): Lease-leaseback Construction Services for Berkeley Unified School District Sylvia Mendez Elementry School New Construction and Modernization Project the Purpose of This Request for Qualifications ("Rfq/p"), Is for the Berkeley Unified School District ("District") to Obtain Statements of Qualifications and Proposals (Together "Proposals" From Qualified Providers ("Contractors") for "Best Value" Lease-leaseback Construction Services ("Llb") for the Longfellow Middle School Modernization Project ("Project"). The Project Generally Consists of: Modernization of Portions of an Approximately 57,000 Square Feet of Buildings New Construction of Eight Classroom Building of Approximately 12,000 Square Feet and Associated Site Work Questions are due by 2:00 P.M., on July 14, 2022. All questions must be submitted in writing to: capitalprojects@berkeley.net District reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in received submittals. Further, District reserves the right to reject any and all submittals and to negotiate contract terms with one or more respondent firms for one or more of the work items. District retains the sole discretion to determine issues of compliance and to determine whether a program management respondent is responsive, responsible, and qualified.
