Kennedy Park Basketball Court Improvements

The project generally consists of the upgrading of two (2) existing Basketball Courts located within Kennedy Park in the Borough of Sayreville. The work involved with these improvements includes mobilization, all safety procedures and provisions, project site access provisions to all work areas; site clearing and site grading operations; installation of approximately 450 lineal feet +/- of 4" / 8" diameter slotted dual wall PPT collector pipe / underdrain system; underdrain cleanout assemblies, where applicable; construction of various types of inlet structures; cutting and removal of approximately 300 square yards +/- of existing cracks located in asphalt pavement, other specified pavement areas and/or unpaved areas; the installation of dense graded aggregate subbase, if and where ordered; installation of approximately 150 tons + of hot mix asphalt base course material; resurfacing of the basketball court pavement area with 350 tons + of hot mix asphalt leveling and surface course material; construction of new basketball court equipment including posts, backboards, goals, nets, footings and all appurtenances; application of a new surface two-color coating system including lines / markings; removal and resetting of existing park benches and trash receptacles to new finished grade; furnishing and installation of approximately 2,100 square yards +/- of 5" topsoil, seed and straw mulch; Borough property restoration; shop drawings, final cleanup, coordination and all other preparation, restoration and associated work in accordance with the Contract Documents.
