Runway 6-24 Rehabilitation at Oswego Co Airport

This project includes the rehabilitation of Runway 6-24. The existing runway is 4,000 feet long by 100 feet wide and encompasses a total area of approximately 400,000 sf. Pavement rehabilitation includes partial variable depth asphalt removal by cold milling, hot-mix asphalt overlay and pavement repairs. Also included in the project are pavement markings and turf restoration adjacent to the runway edges. The runway and turf surfaces will be regraded as necessary to improve drainage while maintaining FAA allowable surface grades. The project includes two add-on bids, one for closed drainage system replacement and one for pavement removal. The add-on bids are being provided to allow for FAA AIP grant funding flexibility.
