Description

Consists of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to prepare the existing paved roadway surface and install an asphalt overlay on Nyes Neck Road located in the village of Centerville in the Town of Barnstable, MA. Major activities include cutting back overgrowth of vegetation along the sides of the road, street sweeping, leveling of ruts and potholes with hot mix asphalt as needed, applying a bitumen tack coat and installing a 1-1/2" hot mix asphalt overlay for a new top wear surface. The work also requires miscellaneous restoration of existing driveway treatments and road sides, construction-related safety signage and all other related activities.
