| Description | Scope of Work: 1. Renovation of approximately 105 windows at the Kearns Mansion. 2. Each window varies in its condition from minor finish damage, shallow wood dry rot and finish damage to deep wood dry rot damage. Most all of the windows are showing signs of interior finish degradation, rotted rubber bottom seals, cracked/missing glazing putty and rotten or broken counter-balance ropes. 3. Exterior paint contains high levels of lead and will require abatement. The glazing putty contains asbestos and will also require abatement. All lead paint abatement performed by subcontractor in execution of their work will need to be coordinated with the DFCM Hazmat Program and completed by professional staff appropriately licensed in the state where such lead abatement will occur. |
