Sherando Park Area 1 Rec Access Phase 2 - Frederick County

This project continues the development vision for the NW area of Sherando Park located north of Rt. 277 as shown in the 2016 North Sherando Park Master Plan update. Continuing the newly installed Line Drive from Warrior Drive to Landgrant Lane, parking, restroom building, and dog park are elements of this phase The project is included in the Frederick County's 2022-2027 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of December 30, 2022, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. Construction is anticipated to be completed in FY2024-2025. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available.
