Description

Provide all labor and materials to replace the existing evaporative condensing unit and heat exchanger at East Alton Ice Arena. All bids should take into consideration and include the following: - Condensing unit sized to work with a possible Ammonia system in the future - Heat exchanger, taking waste heat and using for the sub-floor heating grid and snow melt pit - Sump tank - Removal of current condenser, exchanger, sump, etc - Evacuation system in place in the event that the valves do not hold - 8 hr change over; meaning all is set in place to then shut down the system as briefly as possible to ensure no ice is lost (include overtime & evening work).
