Description

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Bluefield, West Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway. Bids shall be received by the Sanitary Board of Bluefield for Milling and Paving of the above listed Line Replacement project areas to include 10 feet beyond the disturbed existing pavement and from edge to edge of the existing paved surface. Milling should be to a depth of 2 and resurfacing should place a 2 asphalt wearing course to the predefined project area and over the existing base material. Bidders shall submit a base price less any government discounts available and shall include a cost breakdown for milling, bonding and asphalt based on the project location. Prospective Bidders are advised that the contracts awarded under this Advertisement for Bids is likely to be funded by a variety of federal, state, and local funds. Neither the United States or the State of West Virginia nor any of its departments, agencies, or employees is or will be a party to this Advertisement for Bids or any resulting contract. Bidders must be licensed and insured to work in project states as needed. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after the time of the opening of the Bids. The Sanitary Board of Bluefield reserves the right to reject any or all Bids.
