Sewer Pipeline, Manhole Cleaning and Inspection Services

Services shall include, but not be limited to, clean, inspect and assess the condition of approximately 150,000 linear feet of gravity mains, and approximately 1,000 manholes throughout Palm Beach County, including the Glades area. Services shall be done in a professional manner and meet the requirements of applicable Palm Beach County and local Municipal codes and standards. Palm Beach County user department owns and operates over 1,000 miles of sanitary gravity sewers within the County. Routine inspections and evaluations of the system are inclusive of the operations and maintenance program. The pipe sizes range from 8” to 30” diameter, depth of the manholes range is from 2.5 feet to 30 feet. The construction material of the sewer mains consists of PVC, VCP (clay pipe), DIP, CIP, concrete and previously lined sections. The manhole structures are mainly pre-cast concrete, or brick and mortar. Some of the structures were previously coated, and lined with fiberglass or plastic materials.
