Description

Provide all labor, materials, tools, and specialized equipment and services to perform acoustic/electronic based leak detection for underground water piping, fittings, valves, service connections, and other potential leak sources. The water distribution system is made up of approximately 445 miles of water mains (4” to 24” diameter) and approximately 35,000 service connections (4” and smaller, most service connections constructed of PE pipe). The city has an average service connection density of 79 connections per mile. The City is responsible for all fittings and valves up to the customer meter.
