North Main Street Milling and Resurfacing

The contractor shall be requiredto perform all work necessaryto complete the milling andpaving of North Main Streetsections.Separate bid amounts are re-quired for the North MainStreet sections 1-A, 1-B, andsection two.The North Main Street projectconsists of 2 sections. Section1-A is approximately two hun-dred forty-five (245) feet longwith a cart path twenty-seven(27) feet wide. This sectionconsists of milling and pavingNorth Main Street from thebrick section to the south sideof Roosevelt Ave. Section 1-Bis approximately one thou-sand eight hundredninety-three feet (1,893) witha cart path twenty-four (24)feet wide from the south sideof Roosevelt Ave. to the newpavement section (south side)on North Main Street. Sectiontwo (2) is approximately ninehundred four (904) feet longwith a cart path twenty-four(24) feet wide. This Sectionconsists of milling and pavingNorth Main Street from thenew pavement at LakesideDrive (south side) to newpavement at Woodline Ave-nue (south side) on NorthMain Street.The Borough will award bids forsome or all of the sectionsbased upon the lowest totalcost for the selected sectionsfrom a single responsible bid-der. The work consisting ofmilling the existing asphaltpavement to a depth of two(2) inches, application of a bi-tuminous tack coat, and thenplacement of 9.5mm Super-pave HMA Wearing Course,PG 64-22, 0-0.3 millionESALs SRL-H, to a com-pacted depth of two (2)inches.
