Description

REPAIR WELL #1 FCC TERRE HAUTE, IN SOLICITATION OR INVITATION FOR OFFERORS TO SUBMIT QUOTATIONS. Solicitation 15B41823Q00000008 for the award of a firm fixed-price construction contract entitled REPAIR WELL#1 at Federal Correctional Complex (FCC) Terre Haute. FCC Terre Haute is a federal correctional facility located at 4700 Bureau Road South, Terre Haute, Indiana, 47802. The contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, equipment, and materials for the following: o Excavate the site so that the discharge piping and pitless adapter is exposed. o Disconnect the discharge piping and remove the pitless adapter (16") o Remove the pump, motor, and drop pipe. o A hydrologist will color video inspect the well to ensure there is not any further damage to the well casing and filter screens. o Replace the pitless adapter and reconnect the discharge line (take all necessary precautions to ensure the line is not contaminated). o Clean and sanitize the well for five days. o Replace submersible pumping equipment with new: 1. 25 Hp 200v 3 phase 6" motor 2. Submersible pump rated for 800 gpm @ 100' TDH 3. 84' of 8" drop pipe 4. 100' of #2 color coded submersible electrical wire 5. 8" ductile inline check valve 6. 2 - 8" heavy nipples, misc. fittings, hardware, ect. Contractor shall provide full commissioning and start up services to ensure the entire well is working properly. FCC Terre Haute will be responsible for providing adequate ingress and egress for the equipment, and provide all backfilling and reconstitution of the site. See the Specification attachment included with the solicitation posting (to be issued at a later date as described herein) for the complete requirements of the work. The performance period for the project will be 45 calendar days from issuance of the notice to proceed. Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation 36.204, the estimated magnitude of the project is between $25,000 and $100,000. (NOTE: This range is one of 8 available ranges from FAR 36.204 and is not meant to imply that the project has necessarily been estimated/budgeted to the maximum of the selected range. It merely conveys that the estimate/budget lies somewhere within that range.) The solicitation quotations are due January 6, 2023. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's (GSA) System for Award Management Database page (www.sam.gov). Hard copies of the solicitation will not be made available. The website provides download instructions. In order to qualify for award, your business size metrics information entered in your SAM registration must be less than or equal to the small business size standard specified above. Each offeror's SAM registration will be reviewed by the Government to confirm that your business size meets the small business size standard requirement. All offerors are urged to double check their SAM registration and update as necessary, including the size metrics information. The magnitude of this project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.0 This is a 100% small business set-aside. You must be registered in SAM as a small business for the above NAICS code (reference FAR provision 52.219-1 in the Representations & Certifications section of your SAM registration).
