2021 Water Main Extension - Jack Hinton Road and Short Station Road

East Daviess County Water Association (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: 2021 Water Main Extension, Jack Hinton Road & Short Station Road , at their office, EDCWA OFFICE, 9210 KY-144, Knottsville, Kentucky 42366, at which time Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. The program of work for this project which bids are to be submitted consists of the installation of approximately 32,900 LF of 6" PVC water main (Part A & Part B), gate valves, flushing hydrant assemblies, bore and jack with steel casing pipe, directional drill creek crossing, and the connection to existing water mains. and all associated appurtenances and miscellaneous items, including all other associated work, including all related appurtenances, clearing, grading, connections to existing utilities and other work for a complete installation, as shown on the Drawings and described in the Specifications. 2021 WATER MAIN EXTENSION, JACK HINTON ROAD & SHORT STATION ROAD. The Contract Time allotted for the substantial completion of this Project has an expected duration of ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY (120) consecutive calendar days for PART A - JACK HINTON ROAD and ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY (120) consecutive calendar days for PART B - SHORT STATION ROAD after the date when the Contract Times commences and ready for final payment within ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY (150) consecutive calendar days for PART A - JACK HINTON ROAD and ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY (150) consecutive calendar days for PART B - SHORT STATION ROAD after the date of when the Contract Times commences. A certified check or Bid Bond payable to the East Daviess County Water Association in the amount of five (5) percent of the Bid shall accompany the Bid. The OWNER reserves the right to waive any bidding informalities and to reject any or all bids, to add to or delete from any part of the project, to construct any portion of the project or to construct the entire project, for any reason deemed advisable by the East Daviess County Water Association. The right is reserved by the OWNER, in the exercise of its sole judgment to reject any or all bids, and to re-advertise and award the contract in the regular manner or to waive any informalities, irregularities, mistakes, errors or omissions in any bid received and to accept any bid deemed to be responsive to this invitation and favorable to the interests of the owner. The award of the project will be to the low evaluated, best, responsive, responsible, and qualified BIDDER. Small and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises are encouraged to bid on this project.
