| Description | Ocala Electric Utility (OEU) provides electric service to customers within the City of Ocala and portions of Marion County, Florida. OEU is a public electric utility with over 42,600 residential customers, 8,300 commercial customers and 1,048 large industrial customers in a 160-square mile service area. OEU's Systems Operations Center (SOC) uses a War Room as an extension to the SOC during contingency situations. OEU is currently seeking bids from general contractors for demolition and remodeling services of the War Room in order to increase efficiency and decrease outage times during restoration periods. OEU will provide a design for the remodel. Contractor is to provide all labor, materials, and provisions necessary to successfully complete the project. The awarded contractor will also provide the OEU project team a comprehensive and detailed Statement of Work (SOW) at project kick-off. The SOW will contain the project plan, and schedule which will include dates for milestones and deliverables. 1. Demolition of existing materials in an interior 665-square foot room to include desks, restroom, hanging ceiling tiles, and light fixtures. 2. The contractor will inspect for, clean, and dispose of any mold and/or mildew 3. Construction will be as per design in Exhibit A - Plan Set. Design addresses all areas of construction as well as fixtures, plumbing, and electrical. | ||||||||||||
