Description

Rellis Campus - Cooling Towers 1 and 2 Furnish labor, equipment and materials to perform the following repairs to cells I & II of RELLIS Campus cooling tower we looked at. Working on one ( 1) cell at a time (with the adjacent cell still in operation), the successful vendor shall: 1. Isolate the incoming water 2. Drain the cold-water basin 3. Leave fan running over night to dry areas in need of caulking/coating 4. From the inside, caulk affected seams of the cooling tower where water is dripping from the side walls 5. From the inside, repair the leak around the overflow/drain line where we witnessed a constant stream of water running down the pipe 6. Allow to sealing materials to dry sufficiently overnight 7. Custom fabricate quantity two (4) new angle staunch brackets that run from the mechanical support to out to the lower fiberglass fan ring 8. Open isolation valve for incoming water. Wellfield Pump Station - Cooling Tower 7 -Cells 1 and 2 Furnish labor, equipment and materials to perform the following repairs to cells I & 2 of cooling tower# 7 located at the Well field Pump Station. Working on one (1) cell at a time (with the adjacent cell still in operation), the successful vendor shall: 1. Move the PVC drift eliminators out of the cell to provide a clear working space 2. Remove all distribution nozzles from the laterals, open the isolation valve to flush, and manually clear the nozzle ports 3. Re-install the existing nozzles 4. Custom fabricate quantity two (2) new mechanical support tube angle mounts with mounting tabs and install using stainless steel hardware - one on each end of the mechanical support tube 5. Custom fabricate quantity two (4) new angle staunch brackets that run from the mechanical support out to the lower fiberglass fan ring.
